Description
IWR1642BOOST mmWave Radar PCBA
IWR1642 76GHz to 81GHz Single-Chip Millimeter-Wave Sensor Evaluation Module with Integrated DSP and MCU
The IWR1642BOOST is an easy-to-use 77GHz millimeter wave sensor evaluation board for the IWR1642 device that connects directly to the microcontroller (MCU) LaunchPad™ development kit.
The BoosterPack™ includes everything you need to start developing software for the on-chip C67x DSP core and low-power ARM R4F controller, including on-board emulation for programming and debugging, and on-board buttons and LEDs for quick integration of a simple user interface.
The kit comes with millimeter wave tools and software, including mmWave Studio (MMWAVE-STUDIO) and the millimeter wave software development kit (MMWAVE-SDK).
With a 20-pin BoosterPack header as standard, the evaluation board is compatible with a wide range of MCU LaunchPad development kits and simplifies prototyping efforts.
Additional features can be enabled using the add-on board. For example, access to raw sensor data via the LVDS interface is supported.
A 5V, >2.5A power brick with a 2.1mm barrel socket (center positive) is not included. It is recommended that an external power supply be purchased that meets applicable regional safety standards.
Features
On-board antenna for field testing
XDS110-based JTAG emulation via flash-programmed serial port
UART to USB interface for control, configuration and data visualization
LaunchPad interface for seamless connection to MCU
CAN connector supports direct connection to automotive units
