Box Building Service
PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and PCBA (PCB Assembly, components mounted on board) are core elements of electronic products, but they still have to be assembled and integrated with other hardware parts before they become a finished product: wire harness, enclosure (plastic, metal, 3D printed, etc.), display (LCD, TFT, etc.), overlay, logo, fixed by screws, nuts and sometimes glue.
Box Build Assembly Process
- Install PCBs and PCBA into enclosures (plastic PP/ABS, metal aluminum/stainless steel, CNC, sheet metal, 3D printed, etc.)
- Connect the wire harness (sometimes swapped with step 1 above)
- Integrate other mechanical parts, hardware and accessories
- Overlay, label and logo on the outside of the enclosure
- Power on and run functional testing (sometimes set on simulation platforms with assisting accessories)
- Clean and pack into carton box
